Savasana and my many deaths…

I view every savasana as a chance to die; an opportunity to say goodbye to something that doesn’t need to be in my inner environment any longer. Some deaths are harder than others, some go quietly and some scream and fight.  But in the stillness & darkness i find myself communing with all there is, was and ever shall be.

Preparation for these moments of death is vital.  For me, movement, breath, relaxation & mantra put me in the most open place to receive the gift of savasana. The gift of death.  I welcome the strong emotions that surface as i lie cradled, held, supported and loved.  I welcome each and every little death i have every day…

I'd love to hear your thoughts...
